Project "Midwife Café" for Refugee Women

Through its existing medical services, the FPZ is already able to reach pregnant women from diverse backgrounds. Based on our experience, we know that specific groups of migrant and refugee women face many barriers to giving children a good start in life. Women face insecurities and lack adequate knowledge regarding pregnancy, birth and child care. We address their requests for support related to these topics.

We offer outreach counseling to clients in emergency and community shelters in Berlin. On Fridays we also provide a Midwife Café at the FPZ center.

This project is led by a midwife and a social worker.
